By 2030, cities and communities should be secure, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable, according to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11. Among other goals, this entails making sure that everyone has access to decent housing and essential services, promoting sustainable urbanization and transportation, protecting the natural and cultural legacy of the world, and minimizing the effects of urbanization on the environment.
