PMKVY is a skill certification program designed to train young individuals with industry-relevant skills that align with current employer demands. The objective of the program is to encourage the youth of India to pursue vocational training that improve their chances of finding employment. To ensure the training remains relevant and up-to-date, PMKVY regularly consults with industry professionals. The program is open to all Indian youth between the ages of 15 and 29.
